Based in Cornwall in the heart of the English China clay industry, CHMS Ltd was established in 2002 and supplies solutions and services across Cornwall and Devon.
Our current markets include nature/wildlife organisations environmental consultants, mineral extraction companies, property developers, building contractors, landscape architects and private landowners
Many habitats have suffered from neglect and poor ecological use for many decades, with little regard or consideration being given to the affects our modern life may have on them.
CHMS thrive on implementation of management plans to allow projects to proceed and achieve biodiversity, thus allowing a biodiversity gain and maintain wildlife value.
In England, grass snakes are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and cannot be harmed or traded without a licence In 2007, the Grass Snake was included on the updated UK Biodiversity Action Plan as a species in need of conservation and greater protection
